Here are some of our favorite cocktail recipes that we use our tasting room. New recipes to come, so check back soon!

Bushwick Spice Trade

1 ½ Oz. Thinking Tree Gifted Gin

1 Oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

1 Oz. Simple Syrup

5-6 pink peppercorns

2 basil leaves

1 slice of raw ginger

In a shaker, combine peppercorns, basil, and ginger. Muddle the ingredients in the bottom of the shaker until thoroughly crushed. Add ice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and Gifted Gin. Shake vigorously and strain the mixture into a chilled glass.

The Gardener

1 ½ Oz. Thinking Tree Gifted Gin

1 oz. Fresh lime juice

½ to 1 oz. Simple Syrup

2 slices fresh cucumber

1 slice fresh Jalapeno pepper

3-4 leaves of fresh cilantro

In a shaker, combine the cucumber, jalapeno, and cilantro. Muddle in the bottom of the shaker until crushed. Add ice, lime juice, Gifted Gin and simple syrup. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled glass.

Rum Old Fashioned

2 oz. Whiteaker Rum

3 dashes aromatic bitters

1 sugar cube

1 slice of orange peel

1-2 high quality marinated cherries

Large ice cubes

In a low ball glass, take the orange peel and swipe it around the rim. Then place the peel in the glass with the sugar cube and bitters. Muddle the ingredients lightly so that the sugar begins to melt and the oils are released from the orange. Add Whiteaker Rum and ice. Stir to combine and top with cherries.

The Naughty Chai

1 ½ oz. Whiteaker Rum

3 Oz Strongly Brewed Chai Tea (Cold)

½ – 1 Oz. Simple Syrup

2-3 drops of Cardamom bitters

Cinnamon stick

Heavy Cream

Combine Chai, Rum, Simple Syrup and cardamom bitters in a shaker with ice. Shake lightly and strain into a chilled glass. Finish with a splash of heavy cream and a shaving of cinnamon.

Lime and Basil Dream

1 ½ oz. Mainstage Vodka

½ to ¾ oz. Fresh lime juice

½ to ¾ oz. Coconut syrup

2 fresh basil leaves

In a shaker, lightly muddle the basil leaves. Add ice, Mainstage Vodka, lime juice and coconut syrup. Shake vigorously. Strain and serve in a chilled martini glass

Run for the Roses

1 ½ oz Mainstage Vodka

½ to ¾ oz. Rose Syrup-this can be homemade with rose petals and sugar, or bought (Royal Rose has a good one)

¾ oz. Fresh lemon juice

a pinch of dried rose petals

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass and top with a single rose petal.
